3 HOUR TOUR
I got out for a 3 hour ramble this afternoon. The temp was 8 degrees. We have a couple inches of ice under the snow from some freezing rain last weekend. Most of the time, I could ride without breaking thru the ice, but it was hella slippery and my front tire wanted to wash out a lot.

Good to see that you`re shredding the snowy trails. Your K-Monkey is a beauty. I have been stoked with the Ergon grips...a little tricky to find the right angle for them.
I´ve heard good things about putting zip ties around the tires for ice tracion, but, only with disc brakes, that is.
Yeah, the Ergons are the shit!. I've been sold on them for a couple years now. Even for touring, I prefer them to drop bars.

That's Iowa, right? I never really thought much of Iowa but those pics I like; they make that part of the state look pretty cool, at least in wintertime.
