Father's Day Ride

Noah and I went on a nice little Father's Day ride to Mitchell and back. Only 13 miles round trip, but we got a nice mix of highway, river road and gravel. We were rained on lightly several times during the ride, but not enough to discourage us. Stopped at Mitchell for a picnic. Noah ate PB & J with a Dr Pepper and I had 2 bannanas and a High Life. Good times!!!

Noah put some duct tape on his foot to keep the band-ade on a blister.

34 miles on Saturday and a relaxing 13 miler Sunday.

Lake Hendricks Camping

Noah and I spent the weekend camping in Riceville at Lake Hendricks. I forgot my camera, so the following photos are from my cell phone. We biked, hiked, fished, played catch, cooked, relaxled, and ate ice cream and smores. Perfect weekend! 

The Big Dummy is too big for the trays on my bike rack, but it made it there and back. 

We were going to hike all the way around the lake until we found a bridge out on the trail.

Muni for Breakfast, MTB for Lunch

I went out a nice muni ride this morning.  This time I was using the GB4 26 x 2.5 with Magura brake. 

I went out for a hard MTB ride this afternoon.  I love my 1-speed dirt bike!!! Long live the Surly Karate Monkey!

My legs are now shot and I just made it home before the rain hit.
