The H-Bar / Ergon combo is perfect. I rode 7 days of RAGBRAI last year on it in total comfort. I do need to get another Brooks saddle though as I killed my last one.
Noel, I'm not heading anywhere specific.. just a bunch of gravel and back roads riding this summer. Since my bone graft in January, the doc says NO mountain biking this year.
Sweet set up! I know this is from a few years back but I recently acquired and old karate monkey and was looking to convert it into a gravel bike (of sorts).
Did you have to use clamps for the rack and how did you install the fenders>
For the upper rack mounts, I used P-clamps. The front of the rear fender was attached with a zip tie. The rest were attached using the eyelets on the frame.

Thinking about riding up to Gnome Fest this year. Only 200 miles. Easy to ride up in 2 days, hang our for 2 days, then 2 days riding home.
what kinda rack is that?
Gabriel... The rack is a JANDD rack.
