Green Grass and Short Pants
Went riding yesterday with shorts on again, in January, in IOWA. Crazy, but I'll take it. I've also been noticing a lot of green grass. We're getting a dusting of snow this morning, but I doubt it'll last long.
Trans Iowa is getting closer, and I'll need to start working in some longer rides. However, I tend to burnout easy if I don't mix it up and keep it fun.
................Ride on...............

Whoah- shorts?!?! Good to see some ridin goin on up there!
HI. I received a unicycle a couple of years ago as a gift. I just haven't quite gotten the hang of it. I consider myself to have good balance (I ride bike no-hands all the time) but can't master this. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Sasquatch.... learning to unicycle is like like learning to walk. Your body needs to learn how much to pedal and lean to keep from falling over. I learned by mounting while holding onto my parked car, then I'd push off and see how far I could go. 1 pedal stroke, then 2, then 3. It helps to go slightly downhill too. Just takes practice. I could do no-handed trackstands on my bike, so I thought I'd be able to just jump on and go. NO WAY.... It took me about 4 hours to be able to ride 50 meters. Not too bad. Good Luck!!!
