I second Troy's comments. I stopped by to check the updates and saw the photo and thought "Troy would really love that setup"... low and behold he beat me here.

Thanks guys! I've ridden similar set ups on my xtracycle and fixie for years, but the Cross Check just feels better. Still, I'd like some bars that are more moto for trail riding. I'm thinking about getting the Titec H-Bar, but On-One Mary's look promising too.

Yeah, I ride my cross-check with the drops because I use it mostly on the road, but I love this setup too, like what you've done with the bars.

In fact this is a whole lot like my Fuji Cambridge VI in terms of ride setup. Upright riding posture, comfortable seat, old school, same style handle bars, full fenders, baskets on the back. Of course my fugie is from the 70's, only 8 speeds and doesn't do off road period, but the riding geometry is probably the same. Indeed it is my favorite bike to ride purely for fun.
